What is Yoga Lane's approach to yoga?
At Yoga Lane, students are encouraged to take a break from outside distractions. Our mission is for students to “come as you are and do what you can”. We offer class formats ranging from deep relaxation, chair yoga, gentle and vinyasa flow.

How do I know which class is best for me?
Take a look at the our schedule on our registration page and choose a time that is most convenient for you. The majority of classes are beginner friendly but the pace of the class varise.
Level 1: Absolute beginner
Levels 1-2: Absolute beginners and students with some yoga experience.
Level 2+: Students have taken a few classes and are ready to explore poses more in-depth.

What's your cancellation policy?
Students may cancel their class registration at least 3 hours before the start of class and use the credit toward a future class. If we cancel a class, we will notify registered students 2 hours before the start of class.

Do I need to register for a class or can I drop in?
Students should register 2 hours before class start time so we know there are enough students to hold a class. If a class shows “cancelled” on the website, please choose another class.

Do I need to be flexible to practice yoga?
Flexible body? No. Flexible mind? Way more important. This is where the practice of yoga begins!

Can I practice yoga with a physical limitation?
The majority of our classes involve getting up and down off the floor. Our chair yoga class accommodates students needing extra stability.

What should I wear to class?
Wear something comfortable that you can move around in. Yoga is normally practiced with no shoes, but you can wear socks if it is more comfortable for you.

What should I bring to class?
We have yoga mats for you to borrow and any props you’ll need. If you have a yoga mat or your own props, bring along your own. Don’t forget water!

How early should I arrive to class?
We unlock the doors 15 minutes before class begins. Drop-in students should come at least 10 minutes early and pre-registered students should come in at least a few minutes early to allow time to set up and settle in before class begins.

If I am running late to class, can I still join?
For students that have preregistered, the teacher may allow students to come in 5 minutes late. If the “Do Not Disturb” sign is on the door, we hope you will join us for class at another time!

Is there a changing room?
Yes! There is bathroom that students can use to changes before or after class begins.

Do you offer private sessions?
Yes! This is a great option for students that would like to work on something more specific or are not comfortable in a group class setting. We also coordinate special events! Contact us for details!
